Oh Renaissance Festival, how you entertain thee. It had been a number of years since my last visit to one of the largest Renaissance Festivals in the country found right here in Kansas. Wow. Quite the spectacle. I felt weird for wearing jeans and a t-shirt! I had no idea that the whole point of going is to pull out your corset, cinch it up as tight as possible and dust off ye ol' accent of random European origin. We had a great time. One of our favorite things about the fest was the bird show. We saw a variety of really cool birds up close. But most of all the people watching...oh the joy!
