The kittens are still hanging around. We haven't been able to handle them yet, so I'm getting a little concerned that we might not be able to capture them to take them to the Humane Society. They are getting so big, yet they are still nursing. So we're not sure when to take them away from their mama. We've loved having them and have spent lots of time watching them play and eat and sleep. They have reminded me to slow down and enjoy. It's finally really hot (100 degrees) but the garden is taking it quite well. I harvested my first potatoes on Saturday and peppers are starting to form. We continue to be in "project mode" with an unfinished patio (at least we have furniture!), a deck remodel and a spontaneous carpet tear-out in the dining room. It's great though. We are improving as well as getting the house how we want it. It's hard work (thank you Chris!) but quite rewarding.
The tabby is the most timid and the siamese is the bravest.
Sweet Patty Cakes (mama cat)
Our indoor cat, Bella, has started doing some unusual things
like hang out in the bathroom. I wonder if it's all the millions
of cats running around? :)
One of my succulents is blooming!
Have you heard of a Sensitive Plant?
They close up when you touch them!
Morning Glories.
