Beautiful harvest Lowen! Your pics are lovely and cheerful. Wish I could taste those gorgeous heirloom tomatoes! How are you "saving" your tomatoes...jarring, dehydrating, freezing? Wondering what herbs you're growing? Are harvesting them soon to dry for winter use? Bonnie P.
Bonnie, thank you for the compliments! I haven't saved any tomatoes for later, we have just been eating them and giving a few away to friends. The herbs I grew this year are lemon balm, tarragon, thyme, sage, dill, flat leaf parsley, chamomile, basil, rosemary and lavender. Next year I plan on growing more medicinals. I'm not drying any for the winter because I tried to last year with not much luck. Also, I can get extremely fresh dried herbs at my store in the bulk department. I wish you could see it in person. You would love it in my garden.
